Survive – Metroid Prime 4
After 8 years of waiting, Metroid Prime 4 has been released. I don’t have much of a complaint in the end. I am glad the game is here, and I can play it on the original Nintendo Switch as the original deal was supposed to be. And even though this game is also playable on the Nintendo Switch 2 with upgraded graphics, no way I’m investing in the Nintendo Switch 2 this soon for a single game. I did not fall for the trailer and got a Nintendo Switch based solely on a promise. I did get it for Metroid Dread, though. I will consider getting a Nintendo Switch 2 for a second playthrough later in that console lifecycle. If the game blows me away, this might be very soon, but a deal is a deal, so I’d rather stick to the original plan for now.

As for the characters on this illustration, Samus Aran is on the left, wearing her new red suit. The character on the right is called Sylux. I have no idea who this guy is, but Nintendo marketing has been overhyping him as some sort of bitter arch-rival for at least a year. This guy has been hyped for 18 years if you consider the ending of Metroid Prime 3.

Well, hope to have fun.
